Private Jet Airports in Hong Kong
Hong Kong’s international private aviation operations are concentrated primarily at Hong Kong International Airport, with additional helicopter facilities supporting certain regional journeys.
Hong Kong International Airport (HKG) is located on Chek Lap Kok, adjoining Lantau Island, and serves as the territory’s principal international aviation gateway.
The airport accommodates private and business aviation alongside extensive scheduled commercial airline operations, with dedicated facilities for business aircraft and private passengers.
Hong Kong Business Aviation Centre (HKBAC) is located at Hong Kong International Airport and provides business aviation passenger handling and associated services. It is a facility within HKG rather than a separate airport.
Private aviation arrangements at Hong Kong International Airport are subject to airport slots, aircraft parking availability, handling requirements and applicable operating permissions.
Road transfers from the airport to Central and Admiralty commonly take approximately 30–50 minutes, while journeys to The Peak, Repulse Bay and other residential districts may take longer depending on traffic.
Macau International Airport (MFM) is located in the neighbouring Macau Special Administrative Region and accommodates private aviation alongside commercial operations.
It may be relevant for travellers whose final destination is Macau, although it is not a direct substitute for arriving in Hong Kong. Cross-border transport and immigration arrangements would be required for onward travel.
Shenzhen Bao’an International Airport (SZX) is located in mainland China and may be relevant for suitable private aviation journeys to Shenzhen and the surrounding Greater Bay Area.
International charter operations into mainland China are subject to applicable aviation permissions, border requirements and operating restrictions.
Hong Kong–Macau Ferry Terminal Heliport in Sheung Wan supports authorised helicopter services, including certain regional connections. It does not accommodate conventional private jets.
For passengers travelling to Central, The Peak or Hong Kong Island, Hong Kong International Airport is generally the principal arrival point for private jet charter.
Travellers continuing to Macau, Shenzhen or other Greater Bay Area destinations should consider whether a direct flight to the relevant destination airport or an onward transfer from Hong Kong would be more appropriate.
Airport slots, aircraft parking, operating permissions, customs arrangements and ground handling requirements should be confirmed before finalising a charter.
FlyPRVT works with aviation partners to explore suitable aircraft, arrival airports and onward transfer arrangements for Hong Kong charter enquiries.
