Private Jet Airports in Paris
Paris and the surrounding Île-de-France region offer several airports relevant to private aviation, although their facilities, operating restrictions and suitability vary.
Paris Le Bourget Airport (LBG) is one of Europe’s principal business aviation airports and the main private jet gateway serving Paris. It is dedicated primarily to business and general aviation, with established private terminal facilities and services for a wide range of aircraft.
Le Bourget is located approximately 15 kilometres northeast of central Paris, with road transfers to many central districts commonly taking around 30–50 minutes depending on traffic.
Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport (CDG) is France’s largest international airport and accommodates selected private and business aviation operations alongside extensive commercial airline traffic. Its suitability depends on the proposed aircraft, handling arrangements and operational requirements.
Paris Orly Airport (ORY) is located south of central Paris and may be relevant for certain private aviation operations, although airport restrictions, handling arrangements and available facilities should be confirmed for each journey.
Toussus-le-Noble Airport (TNF) is located southwest of Paris, near Versailles, and serves general and business aviation. Runway capabilities and operating restrictions limit the aircraft types that can use it, making it more appropriate for certain smaller private aircraft.
Pontoise–Cormeilles-en-Vexin Airport (POX) is located northwest of Paris and serves general aviation and selected business aircraft operations, subject to aircraft suitability and available facilities.
For passengers travelling to central Paris, Paris Le Bourget is generally the principal private aviation option because of its dedicated business aviation infrastructure.
Travellers visiting Versailles or destinations southwest of Paris may wish to consider alternative airports where aircraft capabilities and operating permissions allow.
Airport suitability, customs arrangements, aircraft parking, operating restrictions and ground handling requirements should be assessed before confirming a charter.
